Sep 28, 2009: 20 million German consumers open to buy food online
According to latest research by TNS Infratest, every fourth German consumer is willing to buy groceries online. Meanwhile, every tenth person has already used the internet for this purpose at least once. Especially employed people with a household income exceeding 2,500 euros are considered a relevant target group. Satisfaction among online food shoppers is high: 90 percent would purchase groceries again over this sales channel.
