Industry association Bitkom has forecast declining sales of conventional navigation systems. After 4.3 million units sold last year, this number might decrease to 4.2 million devices, thus representing a shrinking market for the first time in years. Mobile phones which can now be used as navigation systems are deemed to be the major factor contributing to this recent trend. However, high-end navigation devices with outstanding features might still be sought after
